社名変更の背景
2014年8月創業時、株式会社Wekidsは、「We」と「Kids」の造語に、「Wicked」な「Kids」でもありたい、という当時の創業者達の在り方への想いを込めて命名されました。
創業から8年経ち、会社としての在り方や今後の事業展開を見据えた結果、"praise (称賛）"を生み出す "place（場所）" を作っていく、という決意と意思を込め「plaize」という社名へ変えることに致しました。
個人としての在り方から会社・チームとしての在り方へ意識が変わった事で、一層組織として強くしなやかな存在となり、関係各所の皆様へより大きな価値を生み出していけるよう精進致します。
Wekids Inc. was coined from the words "We" and "Kids"
When the company was founded in August 2014, Wekids Inc. was named after the coined words "We" and "Kids", with the founders' desire at the time to be "Wicked" "Kids" as well.
Eight years after the company's foundation, we decided to change the name to "plaize" to express our determination and will to create a "place" with "praise".
We have changed our mindset from an individual to a company and a team. We will strive to become more robust and flexible as an organisation and create greater value for everyone involved.
